Bruce Bennett’s contributions to the UT Gardens are numerous, but his Children’s Table is among the most visited works in the botanical gardens. Installed in 2006, the table provides a place for youngsters to explore and create within the sprawling 42-acre nature preserve along Neyland Drive and the Tennessee River.
Created from stacked Tennessee limestone, the table features raised-relief depictions of the seven sacred trees of the Cherokee.
